Pattern Making Tutorial : How to draft a flat collar

Flat collar technique applies to a wide range of collar like those

Here is the step by step instructions :

I show on 3 variations to explain the ratio stand/outline length

We start drawing the collar in the same way as drawing the neckline. We overlap the shoulder 0.5 cm.

the second variation :

repeat with a bigger overlap

half collar

repeat with an even bigger overlap

half collar (straighter than the previous one)

the three collars sewn together

the highest the stand, the shorter the fall.

the straighter the collar is developped, the highest is the stand
